I am not looking to expand the shave den at this point but would like to see what a 1960s, 1940s and if they exist 1930s, Super Speeds look like. My company's internet connection will not let me at ebay. Would someone please post an image of one or both. I have been unable to call up any images from images.google.com.

Some additional Super Speed related matters: The Knifecenter sells a version of the super speed which is a knock off, image attached below. Has anyone used one of these knock offs? the Knifecenter calls them the Old English Gentelmen. If they are anywhere as good as the super speed I have, then I got to add one to my shave den.

Most would be a mild shaver, that looks like a Parker to me.

I was going to say the same thing. Parker.
Red Tip Super Speed is made for heavy beards.

How does the 40s and 60s Super Speeds differ from the 50s and 70s models?

JB, I have to say it.
JUST GET THEM!
If you see a Superspeed up for grabs, get it. The only way you are going to know for sure is to get them and try them all. I think we have killed the topic of "what is the difference between every superspeed ever made".
40's Damn fine looking and everyone that seems to have one, loves it.
50's Had the Red Tip, Blue Tip, Black Tip, TV Special and Flair tip. I think these style superspeed carried on through the 60's
70's (the style of the picture you posted) Black Handle pretty light.
Out of all the ones I have shaved with did a great job. I really don't think you can go wrong with a REAL Gillette Supperspeed. Collect them all, you wont be the first to do so. ::

That seems to be the next thing to do. although I might add the Parker which is similar.

I find Parkers are very different from the Superspeeds.
But not bad shavers at all. (I love me some Parker razors).

Wasn't my intent...
JB wanted to see some pictures of the Super Speeds and I just posted these to another forum for sale...
Thought he might like to see what they looked like...
Thanks for the reminder of the post requirements...
I'll keep it in mind since I'm cleaning out my duplicates and dusty razors. Getting ready to retire and move within the year and SWMBO said all unused "stuff" of mine must go...(Sigh)
Enjoy your shave...:D

How many of her shoes, makup and jewlery did she dump? As a general rule I do not keep things in my shave den that have not seen action. Thats' why two of the team members are up for trading in the classified section. Have nto seen action in sometime.
