I've added Lime to the Essential Oil soaps and creams.
The Shave Den Store (http://theshaveden.com/store/index.php)
Wish there were more scents to tell you about, but I've been waiting over a month for an order, that hasn't even been shipped yet. :(

Put the lime in the coconut and drink it all up! JoAnna, what scent do you consider the best one and don't say "all of them." :p

I have fallen in love with the Lemongrass. :love029 :drool
Next would probably be Sandalwood, Bay Rum, Tommy Bahama type, Gucci Pour Homme type, Blueberry, Bamboo & Teak, Lilac, and Rose Garden. :D Not necessarily in that order.

Joe has TSD's Bay Rum shaving cream, and he really likes the scent. I'm sure he'll be along to rave about it soon.

Here I am!
Indeed, I have many good things to say about The Bay Rum........but you should make sure its known....it is NOT a fragrance oil. It is the real thing! Yes, this is pure Bay, at its finest. No other "stuff" (clove, cinnamon, or other stuffs). Just the authentic Bay.
Just what the "Island Man" calls for

Bay Rum may be worth a shot although Lemongrass sounds intriguing. Hmmmm....
What I have/had:
Col. Conk Bay Rum Shave Soap (Never used it - traded it)
Em's Place Em's Glycerin Bay Rum Shave Soap (Nice)
Honey Bee Spa Bay Rum Shave Soap (OK)
Mama Bear Marauder's Citrus Bay Rum & Tangerine Shave Soap (Better than average)
Ogallala Bay Rum Shave Soap (lather challenged but nice scent)
Ogallala Bay Rum, Lime & Peppercorn Shave Soap (lather challenged but nice scent)
Ogallala Bay Rum, Sage & Cedar Shave Soap (lather challenged and scent was not as nice)
QED QEDman Bay Rum Shave Soap (Very Nice)
The Gentlemen's Quarter Bay Rum w/Sweet Orange Shave Soap (Yummy)

Bay Rum soaps I tried:
1. Col Conk--very nice
2. Mama Bear--hmmmm, it sure smells strange for bay rum, but it's good.
3. Sensational Indulgences--beautiful scent and lather, and I lost it, I cannot find it. :(
4. Ophir--made in Israel many years ago, nice, but a little drying
5. SCS--oy, oy, hard to lather, and too sweet.

The scent of TSD's bay rum (as far as pure-play Bay Rum's go) blows them away.

Very well said! Thanks Joe!
I should probably point out that all scents are available in soap or cream form.
I'm also willing to do blends of scents if anyone likes. Just specify any special requests in the customer comments section when you order. But I can't guarantee how the fragrance mixes will come out.

Yes, makes it more appealing that way.

Does Bay Rum smell like clove?

Does Bay Rum smell like clove?
It should not. Many do. Some "Bay Rum" fragrance oils or essential oil mixes can contain the essence of clove.
TSD's only contains pure bay oil.......which smells nothing like clove.
"Bay Rum" is a scent that is widely open to interpretation and improvisation.

Does Bay Rum smell like clove?
Nope.
I'm odd I know, but everytime I smell bay rum it smells like carrots to me. But that's just me apparently. :ashamed001 It does change when it is on someone, though. No more carrots. So, I like it.

the first time my wife met me, I was wearing Pinaud Bay Rum a/shave, and she told me I smelled irresistable. I forgot to mention I also tried Burt's Bees Bay Rum soap--it smelled gorgeous, but to lather it.......:( :( :( :( :(

Hey Joanna (or anyone that may know):
How would you describe/compare your Sandalwood scent? Is it close to C&E? Floris? AOS? QED? Something else entirely?
I'm preparing an order, if you couldn't guess... ;)

Hmmm....not sure.
I've had several orders for Sandalwood, and it smells wonderful. But I don't have experience with any other Sandalwood.
Not sure if any of my sandalwood orders have gotten to their destinations yet, but perhaps someone can answer your question. :o

I just saw that Johnniegold received his Sandalwood soap from TSD today.
Perhaps he'll review the scent for us.
