Hey that is very nice! Did you purchase that or have it made?

Thanks, Ken!
I made it myself. Two boards of cedar decking material with oak dowels as connectors. Stained in "Golden Oak".

Very simple and attractive, and it shows the razors off nicely to boot!

Nice job, and it gives me motivation for my own display if I can ever get around to doing it... :rofl

Very nice!

I've seen pipe racks at antique stores that look similar to that. Just another possibility for the non-handyman.

I think the idea was generated, at least in part, from my history as a pipe smoker.

Thanks everyone for your friendly comments!
Maybe someone takes up the idea and constructs something more sophisticated?

Very nice rack.

I want to try to find something like a gun rack for straight razors.

Very nice rack.

I want to try to find something like a gun rack for straight razors.

Once I start with str8 razors, I'll certainly look into it. Right now I'm still working on my DE technique. Like a gun rack, hmm ... , let me think about it for a while ...

Thanks everybody!

Guys started talking "nice rack" and, immediately, I see a really cool moose head on the wall. Dang... I deserve to be 60.

Aside from all that, I like the "storage" unit. Simple is often elegant.

Ever thought of starting an online business to market the rack? Don't want the business to take up too much of your time? Limit the number of orders you take per month. Might be a great way to supliment your income.

Thanks, but no thanks. I've got a pretty decent income from my dental business. No need for supplements.
BTW, if I charged the same for woodworking, nobody would buy my products. Why would I want to work for less? ;)
