Ok....

I dont know how many fans there are of Seinfeld, but how many of you have seen the episode with Kramer using Butter instead of Shaving Cream :rofl

I dare anyone on this board to try it out....if your brave enough :)

BTW.i think that one tub of Afrique butter will last a lifetime. Such a small amount goes a long way.

I do use butter in a few soaps

I can too much respect for butter as a food to put it on my face for the purposes of shaving.. It just tastes too good!:rofl

Boy...it's been too long since I had a Shiner! I lived in Austin for 3 very enjoyable years about a decade ago. Ahh...

I brought up the use of this as a preshave on another forum...wasn't taken well.

I found it odd considering the main ingredient for most of these kinds of products is glycerin. And I've heard of a lot of people using pure glycerin as a preshave (it's in leisureguys blog).

I know a guy who compared canned goo to whipped cream which is basically butter in its "unfinished" form. He said he got a pretty good shave out of the whipped cream on the first half of his face and a spectacularly bad one on the side with the canned goo :D

aside from sheer cost of whipped cream, there is the refrigeration factor, and experation date... but was he using real whipped cream? or cool whip? :rofl
