Hello everyone, MarSellus speaking...

After lurking (yikes, wrong word) around this forum for a couple of weeks, I believe the time has come to reconnoiter other shaving forums ::. I believe other brethren of the blade have done so before me.

I've been wetshaving for over 20 years now. Like many of you, I've been doing that with the wrong gear. I saw the light after reading an article in a flemish newspaper on traditional shaving. I then started a purchasing folly that cost me many euro's and which still hasn't been satisfied.

My favourite setup so far is a Gillette Red Tip with a Swede and a TOBS cream.

Cheers from MarSellus Wallace

Welcome

I've been having a hard time keeping up with two forums, so most of my posts are still on B&B. But good to see you here.

Morning MarSellus,
I don't usually welcome new members, but this seems like a good place to start. I'm glad there's others to do that, and I did appreciate the nice welcome when I arrived here myself.
You mentioned something about taking a few weeks before making the first post here. I took a bit longer, but I didn't wanna jump into something ( start posting) until I sorta knew who my audience was. I think your decision to become a participating member of this particular forum was a good choice.
A few weeks ago, over at B&B, some mention of this place came up. A member there noted it's existence and just commented about him discovering it. Nothing bad in the least, ok? Well, (and I've seen this before), another B&B member asks why the need for ANOTHER shaving forum. Why start another one of those up? How can it possibly be any better, in other words.
MarSellus, this forum is a good reason for looking around and seeing what else is out there. I belong to a few other forums, but for me, this community is the most 'fun'. I like the way this place is run, and that includes the mods and the owner. The members are as good a group as you'll find in the other forums as well. I hope you also find that to be the case.
Welcome to here,
Martin

Thanks Martin, appreciate it. It's a matter of keeping your horizon open, really. Indeed, perusing two forums is difficult, we'll see...

Well Rick...........look what your errant private message got us into now.
Loooooong disgusted sigh. Well, I STILL want the usual $200.00 for my 'touting' fee, but this will be the last time. Now that you've 'outed' me, I won't be an effective recruiter anymore.
You know, I feel the worst for JoAnna. Now, thanks to you, I won't be able to 'shill' as effectively when her auctions come up. JoAnna? I would think that Rick's got some 'splaining' to do.
MarSellus? Welcome once again to The Shave Den.
