i gotta say though... its very nice of you to waive the $10 shipping fee for members :) gets more people to register, and gives incentive to buy the razor :D everybody wins! i might snipe this one... who knows ;)

I have a couple of these and they are my favorite Gems. I always thought this model was called the "Featherweight". I don't see that name anywhere on the packaging of the razor pictured above. Does anyone know if Featherweight is just a popular tag that was hung on this razor?

Rich probably just a nickname akin to FatBoy on the Gillette adjustable. Someone can correct me if I'm wrong. On a related note, "G bar" is just an enthusiast's term of endearment for another favourite Gem. Gem never used that nomenclature either.
