Milestones in the development of the safety razor

What would you say are the milestones?

1880's - the first safety razor
1940's - TTO
1950's - adjustables
1960's - stainless steel razors

Gotta stick in the loss leader innovation there somewhere. "Give them the razor, and they will buy the blades."

Unfortunately still practiced today. :rofl

Don't know the exact date .....but I would say the internet. Gives me loads of choice....and taught me how to shave properly!!
