View Full Version : Hello
Hello theshaveden-ers,
I'm returning to proper wet shaving after somehow abandoning it for a decade or so. My main objective was to learn wielding a straight razor without ending up with a huge medical bill. Unfortunately I think I may have picked up some ADs that will get me even bigger bills. It's good I'm a student right now, but I think I can see the future on this one....
Anyways, I wanted to say 'hi' to everybody.
Cheers

.....and hang on to your wallet. :D
He's only kidding! It is simply not possible for anyone who hangs out here to hang on to their wallet! As I seem to recall reading "somewhere else", resistance is futile! But look at all the money you won't spend on cartridges! :rofl
Welcome to The Shave Den, Gugi!

Welcome Gugi
Thank you all for the warm welcome :)
Oh, I know my wallet is doomed :) I think my only option now is to at least enjoy the ride...
Anybody looking for a sweet deal on M3-turbo-vibro cartridges. They come shave-ready with a free battery operated handle (or two if you respond within the next 15 minutes).
Do I hear 1c. Repeat one cent... minted in pure brass... backed by the largest economy in the world. Sold! You sir get a free shipping, congratulations!
....Oh, you're saying I can't mix the plastic and the metal recycling? You won't take it? I don't understand....
Yeah I'm actually already looking forward to my shaves instead of hating them. Just the idea of making a proper lather has been a huge revelation. Now I'm learning to strop and hold the straight razor...
Cheers

I can't help with the straight, but I will tell you where to find people who can help: On this forum there is a section for the straight razor, there are a lot of guys over there that have the knowledge that you are looking for. Click on the forum jump on the lower right hand corner and click Straight Razors under the Blade section. Also try www.straightrazorplace.com/forum
