How much aftershave splash do you use?

On average, how much aftershave-splash do you apply?

I think it may vary depending on the product, to some degree (for aqua velva, I usually just douse myself), but on the whole, I'm curious how much people use per application.

I have no idea of the sizes of your coins :confused: But being Swedish I voted in the middle.. I guessed a quarter would be around 2cm..

Depends on the product... but usually somewhere in the middle for me. Quarter it is.

It's kinda hard to tell, with any accuracy, just how much you're using in an application since it's liquid and it usually comes out of the bottle really fast. I've been using Aqua Velva and Skin Bracer off and on .... I just try to dump enough into my hand to where I don't make a mess and get it onto my face right away. I dunno, I would guess I use anywhere from a quarter size to a half-dollar size.

Depends on the Scent. I usually want to make sure my face is wet..with the stuff but not dripping. Other thing, with the Velva.....since it basically just pours out of the bottle, it gets the biggest dosage

Aqua Velva and Old Spice are used generously since they come out of the bottle with little effort -- so, half dollar size for those. Otherwise, I probably average quarter size with splashes like Proraso or Musgo Real, which need a bit more effort to extract from the bottle....

But if I had to say....it'd be about a nickel size portion.

Sometimes, tho....come to think of it.... I use 2 applications.
So.
2 nickels worth, some times :D
But thats NOT a dime.

yeah, but then again cream is kinda solid too, so you can compare it easily - with a coin I'd have to calculate the amount of displaced liquid of the coin and then measure the exact amount of ASL I pour into the palm of my hand in 10ths of milliliters and see if it fits. :D

I use about a silver dollar size of aftershave. Thats a pretty good douse but quite refreshing after a good shave. And I agree with you Joe, I also tend to get crazy with th Aqua Velva!:drool

its too good for the skin ill almost Bath in it after a shave ill use it atleast once a week but the Velva demands a big splash..its like jumping into a freshly opened Polar ice piece that you just cut out yourself to jump in and take the freshness ...hits me everytime I jump into the Velva bath. and the bottle still has plenty left. the trueth be told..if I only had 2 aftershave bottles id be a bit more hesitant but still use a nickel or so.. but since I got so much in my rotation I splash it on generous..

it also depends on which aftershave if I really dig it ill splash lots. and if the bottle is almost empty I kinda dab it on to keep on to it in my rotation.

I do my AS a bit differently...I usually use Proraso ASB, but I mix my AS directly into it, and depending what I'm using is how much I add... I like the Musgo Real Orange Amber so much more in a spritzer than splash, but I usually spray 3 or 4 sprays into my ASB and mix it up and apply it...

That's a good measure of how I do it.

For those of you that don't live in the U.S., here is some help with the coin sizes:

A Quarter is exactly the size of two bits.

A Half-dollar is exactly the size of a 50-cent piece, or four bits.

A Silver Dollar is exactly the same size as a frog skin, a samolian, or 8 bits.
