I just finished making some Blueberry shaving cream for a customer, and let me tell you, my kitchen smells like I've been baking blueberry muffins all day! :drool :drool :drool

Making me hungry!

Warning; do not taste the shaving cream!

If the customer wants to identify themselves that's ok, but I prefer to not name names. :D

Couldn't help but think what a wonderfully delightful smell for a morning shave.

Maybe I should try Blueberry & Coffee shaving cream. Breakfast in the shower! :rofl

That would have to contain FOs, and those tear you up.

I did not say I was going to shave with it. Bath soaps are just fine.

Blueberry Muffins :drool:drool:drool

You have NO idea!! I'm almost compelled to make blueberry muffins now. Just hate to buy blueberries. They are never as good as the ones we use to pick when I was a kid. There was a public blueberry field down the block from our house. All the blueberries you wanted, for FREE!! Best blueberries anywhere!

1 tsp. vanilla
Cream butter and sugar, add eggs one at a time. Add dry ingredients alternately with milk. Fold in blueberrys, Lightly sprinkle with sugar before baking. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 to 30 minutes. Fill cupcake full. (spray the pan with pam so when they rise they wont stick)

Thanks for the recipe, Issy!

Now if only someone would ship me some blueberries from Tacoma City Park; 7500 E "D" St, Tacoma, WA :( Blueberries should be just about coming into season now.

The only good blueberries are the small sweet ones. The softball-sized ones with the recombinant plastic genes inserted are like balls of mushy blandness.

A lot of people seem to think the smaller ones have more flavour. All I know is they make very nice tasting jam. :D

I bet your neighbours think you are quite the whiz in the kitchen Queen, little do they know you are more of an alchemist... heh

I know my way around the kitchen fairly well.

Prefer baking over cooking though.

The small, wild blueberries are most definitely the best! Went camping with a buddy of mine and our kids some years ago. On an island in the middle of a lake in Maine. Absolutely no one there except us and the loons. Turns out the island was covered with wild blueberries! We weren't equipped to bake muffins, but pancakes? Ahh!!!!!!!!

Decided to bring some home when we left...where we did have ovens and muffin pans. Do you have any idea how long it takes to fill a 2-liter Coke bottle with wild blueberries?! One in the bottle, two for the cook! Like cooking with wine! ;) Worth the effort though!

Hope blueberry shaving cream doesn't stain your brush! :D

I don't care for those kind of blueberries. :o

And the kind I like certainly don't take that long to fill a 2 liter. :p

Blueberry shaving cream will not stain your brush. I am not adding any colorants to my soaps or creams. :p

I'm the opposite. I prefer cooking over baking. Except bread, if I had the time, I'd be making a lot of bread. Which reminds me. My wife is hinting she wants a batch of my chocolate chip cookies. I think I already put the recipe in the bar and grill section a while back.
