Love my 41 Super Speed so I went and ordered a travel version of the Super Speed. Don't figure that I will need anything more in that area.

I did not know they made a Travel Super Speed Type. I know of a Tech Type or Turnback. Do you have a picture?

Waiting on stuff. "Lot" of razors, some 1/2 chaps and a couple of Kent soap bowls. Oh, and a Feather "ahem" razor. I didn't expect that one. I got outbid like I thought I would and the high bidder retracted. Go figure. :D

Trumpers is discontinuing all their razors. If you go to their site they have a 50% off sale going. The shipping from U.K. is a b*ch but I have a good friend that split his order with me, so that made it reasonable.

Total cost was just shy of $60.00 :D

Took Mike's advice and took advantage of Trumper's sale on razor line. Always had my eye on this one and now there is just no excuse. Just placed an order for the simulated tortoise handle. After its discontinued, don't come banging on my door wanting to try it out. ;)

last night, from shavingesssentials

1 bottle Boosters Iced Lime aftershave
1 bottle Boosters June Clover aftershave
sample - Boosters polar ice
sample - Boosters oriental spice
sample - JM Frasers shaving cream

Unfortunately, the cap got opened somehow during shipment and about 1/2 of my June clover leaked out and all over the box, the box was all smooshed when it arrived. :ashamed001

The good news is, as expected, shavingessentials is taking care of it. :happy096 They offered to replace both bottles (the iced lime you could tell leaked a little as well), but I told them the June clover was the only one that was really affected.

They're going to add another bottle to my next order of oriental spice and possibly Jickey(if it doesn't smell like oldman) when they get it in.

Oriental spice is probably my 2nd favorite scent from boosters, behind June Clover or Iced lime. Yep, the June clover is that good IMO. Sticks around a bit longer too, smelled it on me thru this afternoon.

And I don't think the oriental spice smells like clubman at all. I have some aquarius, and it definitely smells like clubman. But maybe the "spice" (I think I smell cinnamon or something) overtakes the clubman smell. Regardless, it's good stuff!

Picked up a tub of T&H 1805 shave cream. This is the first T&H shave cream I have ever purchased. I received a sample of 1805 a while back and remembered how much I enjoyed. Picked it up at Nordstrom's. Finally have all the three T's in the shave closet.

Order from Razor and Brush has been switched a bit. Giovanni was out of the razor that I presented, and he has sent me an upgrade for free. I have not paid one red cent for the razor, thsi is the price I like to pay for things. Attached is a photo of the new acquisition. Will be concentrating on my other favorite pastimes, reading political thriller litterature and watching the most exciting DVDs I can lay my hands on. I have Vince Flynn's Consent to Kill and David Hagberg's High Flight at the moment as well as DVDs called Hostel and Acts of Death coming up.

Bob,

Muehle Pinsel Pure Badger, 22 knot (ish).

Yep (almost), they call it a "Best" Badger, though it seems like a pure to me....I would imagine it will soften up with use though. Perhaps they just don't dye any of their badger hair.

Its a 21mm knot

I got mine locally, at Merz Apothecary in downtown Chicago. $30 USD

This is actually my new favorite brush....it works very well, soaks up H20 like a champ, lathers like a racehorse, preps the whiskers nice and makes 'em stand up stout, and the handle is extremely ergonomic.

The only problem is that it doesn't hang straight in the muehle-pinsel stand I have
