Decent shave. Thought the razor was Shave Ready from Bill. It was cutting hairs on my arm without a problem, but when i got to the face it was pulling hard. Got through the shave....a little sore. After the shave i did 15 passes with 1.0 and 15 with 0.5 pasted strop and 50 laps on the leather strop. Tried a Hanging Hair test with the Badger Hair and it got a nice flick. Ill give it another go tomorrow.

Side note....put a good 1" nick next to my goatee...wasnt paying attention to the angle :P

Result: 4.5/5.0 Slant with a Feather is something that not all shavers will attempt. Me? I was looking for a 2 pass shave since I needed to catch up on some work and was in a hurry. This combo does not scare me since I very familiar with the Slant and the Feather suits me fine. Normally, I use an IP or Derby in this razor. Got what I wanted.

Result: 4.6/5.0 Nice shave all around. First time using the Panda blades. About average. I started to create the lather in my bowl and didn't like what I was getting so I switched to a combination of lathering in my hand and on my face. That did it. Lot's of lather then. Part of the deal was this is a small sample and I find that putting the soap sample into the palm of my hand works better.

Horrible, horrible soap. The lather bubbled down to a thin layer on my face, and this is the first time I've wanted to wash the lather off my face as quickly as possible. Not a high level of burning, at the level of "Wow, that's annoying. Is that the lather? Why yes, it is. What pass am I on? Am I going to finish soon?"

Eucalyptus, cloves, and camphor did not a nice combination make. No irritation after the lather came off beyond the alum block stinging kind, and that wasn't bad, but I now have a new shower soap. And time to write a new review. :D

Result: 4.5/5.0 Had to work at it. I went with a Bay Rum day. Use the Ogallala Bay Rum as both a bath soap and a shave soap. Fine as bath soap. Resorted to some tricks of the trade to get it to do what I wanted as a shave soap. I hate seeing my shave soap lather literally disappear in my bowl and brush. Poof! Arrrrgh...I beat the sucka though. Creative hand lathering and face smoothing by brush and hand showed it who's boss. :D

Nice shave, one weeper. The Nivea cream has a nice scent, similar to the Euro Palmolive, although I like the Euro Palmolive better. Still, good shave, nice and close, good protection.
