I have found a fabulous house up near the UP (WI and MI border) with an unfinished basement. As the developer is talking about tearing down my house, I am in a tentative agreement with him on the sale of my house if I can strip this house of the cabinetry, kitchen and hardwood flooring so that I can build a 'mad scientist's lab' in the basement of the new house. This past year has not allowed me to do much product development, but if this deal works out, I should have everything in place to have an actual soap business out of my home. I still wish I had a crystal ball, I don't know what the future holds and even building this 'lab' will be expensive, I don't make a lot of money at what I am doing now, but I sure do enjoy the hell out of it... ;-)

I am working 'with' the developer for a change and think that we might actually come to an agreement in the next few days.

So I will be moving to Northern Wisconsin... (about 5 hours from here) hopefully by the end of the year if all goes well.....hopefully this time I won't have to pack and then unpack again like I did last January... .... I can't wait for this to all be over with... I will try and let everyone know what the moving schedule is going to be, I have been juggling house hunting and soapmaking, but there will be a time at the end of the year when I will have to close down for a month and get re-set back up in the new place.

Thanks for all of your patience and wish me luck?

Sue, bless your heart*. I hope this time is for keeps. Having moved a number of times, I know how much it sucks to load up everything you own and move. Then when you weren't able to move I felt so bad for you. I hope it works out this time.

*Not to be confused with the Southern "bless your heart," which may sometimes be a polite way of saying something like, "bless that boy's heart, but he's dumber than a box of hammers."

Blair, you made me cry... until I rethought the 'Bless yer heart' thingy.... I have Southern friends. I know what that means.......:rofl
