Unadulterated Tobacco.
This aftershave is a real rarity. Unlike the usual tobacco-scented mixtures that often use synthetic tobacco aroma as well as a lot of other unwanted ingredients, this one is made with only the finest Virginia tobacco (Nicotiana Tabacum). Because of its high percentage of menthol, it effectively cools the skin. This pure version is not available in retail any more. Only a couple of old hairdressers in Innsbruck, Austria still order it directly from the manufacturer who now also bottles it in vintage-labelled flacons

for people that have bought more than one bottle, shipping will be combined (and charged at cost)

for example, If you bought one bottle of Alt Innsbruck, one Bottle of Pitralon, it would look like this:

$22.1 + $18 + shipping within USA = Total cost

A pure tobacco, not a pipe-tobacco smell, not like a cigar.....just like a raw tobacco leaf. Subdued, understated, and masculine....very smooth. It makes for a noticeable and enjoyable aroma and I can't imagine it offending anybody (including the ladies ;)).

I tried the Pitralon yesterday and it really is a very good aftershave. The smell reminds me of Thayers Lavender w/h. The fragrance may take some getting used to, but its healing and soothing qualities I can get used to immediately. I am very glad I got a bottle of the Pitralon. :D

As for the Alt Innsbruck. I definitely made a mistake getting a bottle of this one. I SHOULD HAVE BOUGHT A CASE OF IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This stuff is the real deal. Great scent, and the menthol... :cool::cool::cool:

The top tin (visible) is Klars Rasierseife. Smells nice, quite like Woolfat soap, and lathers very well. Only used this once.

The other tin is Gold Dachs, which is excellent vegetable-based soap. Shaves very close. Very pleasant scent.

Both of these shave soaps have been in production for hundred of years ::
