For the temporary relief of minor aches and pains of muscles and joints due to: simple backache, heacache, arthritis, strains, bruises, and sprains.

Active Ingredients: Menthol, Camphor, and Methyl Salicylate

Inactive Ingredients: Mineral oil


This stuff is VERY potent. The menthol is very prevalent.


Been used in China for 60+ years for medicinal purposes. Anybody use it? :D

We always have some Tiger Balm on hand, or Oblas Oil. Stronger that those?

Much. Much, stronger. This stuff is very concentrated.

Me too. I thought it was a bottle of tsubaki/camellia oil for preserving knives/razors.

In the words of Trader Joe, if it has menthol in it, I'm game. :drool

Got mine from somebody who went to China.....so I can't vouch for any of the online sites. But what I can say is that the vial I have looks exactly like the smaller one in this picture:

My wife told me on the phone that my small bottle of Axe Oil arrived today. I got mine at eBay. Just search for Axe Oil worldwide and you will see a lot. Mine came directly from Malaysia.

More tocome after I tried it ...
