I dunno, Peter, but I'd say it came out pretty damn nice. That's fairly complex work you're doing. http://www.freesmileys.org/emo/ad/goodjob.gif (http://www.freesmileys.org)

no I have to hone it yet

Very nice, Peter. Excellent craftsmanship. The blade I was going to send you disappeared from my "to do" box. Then, I got to thinkin'... ahh... I used in on something else. So, to make up for it, I sent you a couple blades instead of just one.

Nice work, Peter. Looks like you got good symmetry between the scales too.

A W&B wedge with beautiful scales - here's hoping it goes for a more realistic price than it's at now (I'm no ebay expert, but if I had the cash I'd be offering waay more than 120...just for the workmanship alone :drool)
Beautiful razor Peter.

Very stunning as usual Peter, surprised not to see any Greaves making an appearance.
Just as an aside I went to the working with wood show here in Adelaide yesterday. I couldn't help myself and just had to buy a couple of chunks of red mallee and coolabah burls. I reckon they will look OK for scales.

your not wrong ,red mallee makes great knife handles so I can`t see why they will not be as equally impressive on a razor . By the way the next two will be greaves just waiting on the blades
kind regards Peter
PS I would just like to say thanks for all the kind words about the last project ,it certainly is appreciated,it also gives me thr encouragement to have another go,so thankyou one and all

Wow, John...I really like the looks of that coolabah. Is that native to Australia?
I'll bet a block of that with the birdseye in there would make a nice smoking pipe, too.

As far as I know it's uniquely Australian. I bought a 2 inch x 2 inch by about 10 inches long for $Au13 from
http://www.bradsburls.com.au/homepage.htm They have all sorts of other varieties also. And yes it would make a very nice pipe I think and probably with a very nice aroma to go with it.
Cheers
