Talc/Shave Talc -> Irritation Annihilaltor?

I have been playing around with talcs lately, as a complement to my usual after-shave regimen.

Seemingly, talc applied after the splash has dried, before the balm.....works very well.

What I have used

1) Pinaud Talc (not the "shave" version)
2) Aqua Velva Shave Talc (OLD)

Anybody else see good results with talc soothing raw/irritated skin? What are you using?

I use Clubman talc on occasion before using Clubman aftershave and it does seem to lessen any minor irritation I've had but if I've been a bad boy and shaved poorly which resulted in major irritation, the talc did nothing noticeable.
