I have an Ayars bowl and im wondering if anyone else that has one finds it a bit shallow. I often have cream trying to escape. Is it me or my lather technique?

The bigger the mess you make, the better the lather will be :D

I use shallow bowls, I use deep bowls.........but mostly, I lather directly on my face ;)

Oh, yeah. Came home today with a new C&E best badger brush and some Sandalwood soap. I had shaved fairly late in the morning, so there was NO stubble, but I made lather anyways, just to try out the new brush.

Or if someone posts a new lathering technique here, I rush off the bathroom to try it, even if I won't be needing a shave 'til the next morning!

I agree, its good stress relief for me.

Some people do drugs, others drink, others over-eat........I make lather :D
