A friend of mine found an old straight razor in the basement of the house he bought. We were discussing DE and straight shaving, and he mentioned this razor and gave it to me. Unfortunately there is a break in the blade. I was wondering if it's possible to have this repaired, and/or if it's even worth bothering with? Below is a link to some pictures, 5 & 6 show the break.

Sorry... Your razor is dead. Time for a burial. You could use it for a cutting tool in the shop, however.
