Remember....when we shave we are reducing the beard till it is gone. (paraphrase)

You know.....as simple as what he said is.....it is great advice.

After doing this with my recent shaves, i find that im getting a much better and closer shave. I tend to do smaller sections and dont go over the same areas as much with each passes.

Just wanted to pass that along as it is a great peace of advice.

We are talking about the RAZOR. :D

The Fat Boy was an Adjustable Razor made by Gillette Company in the 60's, very popular.

Cool, kinda like cliff notes for the Mantic videos'

I agree, reduction is key.....and along the same lines.....trying not to overshave and wipe out all trace of whiskers, as they retract when the skin cools down and dries.

Funny thing is, I knew that was what one should be doing (reduction), but the temptation was always there to "swing for the fences," as it were, rather than just put the ball in play.

After having taken up a straight razor (where swinging for the fences=slice o' skin!), I have learned to take it slower, pass after pass, but also not go over the same places many times.
