Hi everyone,
I know I shoulda done this a while ago. I joined here a few months ago, and have, until now, lurked successfully ( in a guilty sorta way). I also look in on the other forums, and started my shaving 'journey' seven months ago. My usual set up is a schick injector and some old personna twins.
Most of you know that each forum has it's own feel, based on a number of things. The members are important of course, What's even more crucial is having the right people in charge, in order to help guide the place to where it's most comfortable. Everyone's ideas regarding forum goals are different, and their personalities can't help but influence and attract like minded people. I've never typed to Sue or JoAnna, but I know I like them both from their posts. Heh......JoAnna is a real pistol, eh? Sue has such a good reputation for her things that I'm also gonna place an order with her. That'll be one monkey off my back, since I've been meaning to do THAT for months now. Oh, don't worry about the monkey, he hops right back on in a few days!
Sue? I love your dogs. I grew up with bulldogs, and other types with mushed in noses, so I see the beauty in those types. Matter of fact, my avatar is one of a pug with a few improvemnts made. That pug, in it's 'prime'.......weighed 30 damn pounds. Grotesque huh?
I know there's something else..........oh yeah I remember. I should probably mention the reason I finally typed to y'all. I won the latest auction for the NWC injector and blades. Actually, I know those things are a crapshoot, but I think the personna blades may tilt the odds more in my favor. It's quite nice looking and heavier than the other injectors I normally use. It's also in very good condition, as you would expect.
Wheeeew, I feel better now....heh. Sorta like confession. Hopefully this little icebreaker with be just that: more w)ice cracks to follow soon.
