Is that also being discontinued or are you having trouble finding a source?

I'm not Jeff, but I'm pretty sure the Euro palmo is still going strong in terms of prodcution.

Perhaps he is looking to stock up for a nuclear war :think002....I know he must have at least of ton of those already.

well, to the best of my knowledge, Euro Palmolive is very much alive and kicking ass in Europe. A very good version of Palmolive with a lovely scent, and excellent skincare and lather. I especially enjoy the soap sticks.

+1 on the ass kicking. I was fortunate enough to trade a tube of Tabac cream for a tube of Euro Palmolive. What a nice, subtle, clean scent!

It's a little depressing to me that all of these great products are available in Europe, and all we have around here (in Middle Tennessee) is Edge gel! :(
I haven't tried any of the Euro-versions, but the Palmolive red tube is great stuff. It works, for me, better than Proraso, and as good (but not as fragrant) as Trumper's and Taylor's. I have 25 tubes of this in my closet, and may stock up some more before the guy selling them on ebay runs out! :p

Yes, it is, Jeff, very much alive indeed. I mailed Colgate/Palmolive and they assured me they won't be discontinuing the EU-version :D

how about a group buy on the Euro Palmolive? I have one tube I bought to try out and I love the stuff but I dont want to use it 'cause I only have one.

Just a thought since we all seem to like it. We can get one of our euro members to buy it and mail it to us.

anyone interested???

Not a bad idea. Question though...what's the difference between the US version and the Euro?

Oh I'll trade you a Euro palmolive tube for a Tabac Tube anytime of the day :drool cant get Tabac Cream in my drugstores here.

if anyone is looking for the Euro palmolives they are at the BC store just shoot me a PM. you can combine it with getting some other items.

If you go for some euro member providing you with the tubes awesome aswell good plan best way to go really shipping from europe to USA aint cheap. I would advice to opt for a 2 kilo box. I know from the Netherlands it would cost 13,50 euro to send a 2 kilo box to USA (economoy speed) offcourse I cant speak for the other european countries what their post offices charge.

good luck on getting them.

Question though...what's the difference between the US version and the Euro?

1) Scent, Most will tell you the Euro version is much better

2) Ingredients, Euro version has palm extract and aloe. (US doesn't). Both however, aren't chock-full of chemicals and preservatives like you might find in the garden variety "high end" creams.

no preservatives or chemicals is good!!!

give me some more of them!!!!!!!!!!

If there is enough interest I'll start planning the buy.

ah, Joe answered for me very well. I'd say the Euro version is a nicer, more citrusy scent as opposed to the soapy scent of the US version. Lather-wise, both seem identical. Skincare-wise, very little, if indeed any difference.

I'll be in London and Germany the next 3 weeks. What's a good price for the EU Palmolive bought at a "drug store" or equivalent? After all, the shipping back is no extra charge for a few tubes.:D

Hmmmm, I'd say offhand around 1,75 EURO. I got in a whole bunch as gifts. Check out the Palmolive shave sticks, which are also great.

Well, I've been to four CVS's reasonably close to me in Richardson, Plano, and North Dallas and they have zip. Guess I'll have to cross the pond:D

I had two tubes and ended up trading the other one for a puck of Mama Bear's Rosemary Mint, which I suspect is not the real deal. :( It came in one of her signature white jars with the black top, but there is definately no rosemary or mint in this soap. I may have been had...can someone tell me, is the RM soap a light yellow color?

Oh how I wish I still had that tube to trade you for another Euro Palm!

It is light yellow, and to me, smells a little like peppermint. The lather has a cooling effect on your face somewhat like Proraso.

Interesting...mine definately has no trace of peppemint or cooling. In fact, if I had to describe it, I'd say a bad interpretation of lemon lime. I think I was definately traded something else.
