Well.. as per some of the suggestions for the newbie, I went to the local Crabtree & Evelyn this afternoon.. bad (yet, good) idea..

Newest (read, first) additions so far.. ..

- holy crap is this thing big :)
- question re: it - do I have to worry about the stray hairs that seem to separate from the bigger 'clump'??

Good call on the Super Badger brush. It's a nice size, and those are Edwin Jagger brushes from the UK. Don't sweat a little shedding, but EJ just started a new run for Crabtree & Evelyn, so if it keeps shedding, you might have a dud. Make sure to keep the receipt for a week or so! ;) But like Doc says, a little is normal.

Nomad is awesome. The Sweet Almond Oil is a little TOO sweet for my tastes.

C&E Super is a darn fine cream brush. A little on the floppy side but it will make big lather out of any cream.

My first one had some shedding issues and I ended up returning it to the store here in Austin after a month. They gladly handed me a replacement no questions asked. The replacement never had a single problem.

That's what I find too.. seems a tad floppy.. but hey.. I'm gonna try.

Futur came in.. going to hit the first shave.. typically ti's a morning thing for me... but it's 8:40pm shadow...

If I dont post back in a bit, someone send an ambulance over.. with a big red mop. :D
