Hello SSAD, my old friend
You've come to shave with me again
Aren't 30 soaps enough for me?
My shaving shelf looms over me
But the craving for new lather is too strong
So this song
Within my crowded shave den

Funny. Colleen was a soapmaker. Joined StraitEdgerRazors.com to learn how to restore some old straight razors. I don't think she has restored a single razor, but she makes some of the best soaps on the market, with the the most unique scents. You gotta luv a west virginny woman!

Are you set-up in your own location Colleen? I've been out to Tamarack, to buy some of your soaps and creams, but wondered if you had your own shop.

Sparky (Bobby) lives in VA, as do I, it's about a 2-3 hour drive to Tamarack from this area.

I have quite the soap stash but I fear I may have to shoot an email to the Soapmistress. You know those horror stories of how people who are addicted to gambling or shopping ruin their lives and those of their families???? Real sad stuff, huh? Thank God I'm not married!:rofl (The girlfriend is becoming suspicious though...:( )

Evenin! Gents and Lady,

Lets see..... where shall I begin.....first off, it's interesting to meet people who've actually been to the Tamarack. I sure hope you tried the Fried Green Tomato sandwich while you were there, best sandwich on the planet....lol....well, at least around these parts ;)

I hope to have a little storefront someday, as I have it planned out in my head....lol. I have the makings of a small "working" soap shop; aka "the little house next door" It's not much to look at, but at least we're starting to get organized over there, instead of soap being everywhere in "our little house".

I wish that I could tell you when you will be able to purchase online. Which is uhhhm..."coughs".....somewhat of an unorthodox answer in the business world. I fear that I came rather late to the game, in the world of computers, and it has taken me For- EVerrrr to write the copy and take the photographs and pick out my design work....and then sorda put it together in a way that could be translated to my young friend at the University who is actually the person behind building the website.

The structure of the website is there, but there are still obviously blanks that need to be filled in. I have a young helper now "also from the University" who comes here to help me 4 days a week, and this has really helped alot...so that on Friday's I'm supposed to be writing copy and taking pictures, and then I meet with my friend at 3pm, and he translates everything to the site. Here lately we have missed a few Fridays....but I go to see him again tomorrow. So there should be small changes taking place each week.

I dare not say when I actually think the website will become functional for purchases...as this really is a work in progress.

Anyone may still purchase from me though 24/7.....I currently conduct all of my business the old fashioned way of "email"...LOL. Payments are done via Paypal, check or money order. Whatever works best for you!

If anyone is interested in Shaving Soaps, Shaving Creams or Bath soaps....Please, just drop me a note here... PM, or send an inquiry to thegentlemensquarter@verizon.net and I will forward you a copy of a PDF file with a listing of my products, the pricing and it gives a brief summary of how my business actually came about in the shaving world.

I certainly appreciate everyone's comments....I'll stop back by in the morning over coffee, but right now somebody's gotta fix dinner and that'd be me ;)

XXWarm Regards, Colleen
