Has anyone tried this? (http://www.1600formen.com/index.asp?PageAction=VIEWPROD&ProdID=107)
Sounds like it might be a "new" cream similar to Nancy Boy as you can use it with or without a brush.
I've ordered some, if no ones tried it I'll provide a review on the board.
But if anyone has already tried it, I'd like to hear about it.

"Power Shave Cream"
Sounds impressive ;)
Thanks for the heads up - Let us know how it is! Would also be interested in ingredient listing.

Joshua,
That's a new one to me! Glad you brought it to our attention. I certainly look forward to seeing your review soon. It sounds like it just might be a good cream. I am primarily a cream user and I do love the Nancy Boy Signature Cream.

Since when does the US Secret Service licenses shaving products? or the use of what appears to be something very close to the seal of the President of the US for the purpose of selling a product?
Just curious...

Some kind of charity initiative, as described here (http://www.1600formen.com/index.asp?PageAction=Custom&ID=7).

Well that is one fine charity indeed. If this cream is any good I'll do my part.

Well fellas, I've only used this cream once so far, but here are my initial findings.
Scent - Smells like powdered detergent to me when you crack the tub. But after lathering it up, the scent turned into a pretty nice "barber shop soap" scent. Not bad so far. The texture looks kind of like the photos of vulfix creams I've seen, almost like cream of wheat. But this stuff is very runny. If the tub was opened on its side the cream would pour right out. I've frozen my tub, so we'll see if that changes anything.
Latherability - what lather? Seriously, I find it hard to swallow that this company has specifically stated in their product description that it can be used with a brush. After repeated lather building, of which I had to add significantly more cream, I got an at best mediocre runny lather. It seemed almost watery as slathering it on my face resulted in a few drops falling off my brush and hitting my chest. I did get a lather, but not much.....at all.
efficacy - I used this and shaved with a new to me Schick hydromagic injector. My other injector's a bit noisy when it cuts through the hairs, so I couldn't tell if it was the razor or the fact that the lather wasn't softening my beard that caused all the noise w/this one. I did a two pass shave (+ touchup) w/this stuff though, and never felt any kind of whisker pull.
moisturization - THIS is where this cream stands out so far, AND I think this is why this cream doesn't lather much. After my shave, I did my usual cold rinse, then alum, then another cold rinse after the alum dried. Even after this proces I didn't have to use ANY asb and my skin felt well moisturized and nice & soft. I think this stuff's got some serious emolients in it, which helps the skin, but hinders any realy lather. For those of you that have used Nancy boy, have you ever noticed that after your shave, the water in your sink almost has a foggy surface? This is from the emolients/oils in the shaving cream. I found my sink looked exactly the same after I shaved w/this cream. However, so far this stuff doesn't even hold a candle to NB.
price - I bought this for $13.50/tub from Amazon. At this price, I think my trying a new cream was worth the risk. But the verdict's still out on whether or not I think it's worth the money I spent on it. I know if I'd bought it direct and paid $19 I would not have been happy thus far.
So that's what's up w/this so far. I'll be posting a real review after a few more shaves, including a full list of ingredients.
On a different note, I've got a line on another shaving soap/cream that I believe is new to the board, is artisan produced, specifically for a brush, samples can be purchased directly from the vendor AND is supposed to be all natural and toxin free (I'm sure TraderJoe, and others, should be interested specifcally for this reason). Once I get my samples I'll let everyone know what's up w/this stuff as well.
