you have to give this bloke points for trying ,personaly I`d give up
This has been doing the rounds for at least 1 1/2 years and he is still trying to sell it .
Maybe this one is for Bill ,he is the only one I know that has a hope in hell of restoring it
Kind regards Peter

added 9/30/06 it has been pointed out to me that some of the blade has been sharpened off. this razor was used therefore the blade got shorter as it was sharpened over almost 100 years of use.

So straight razors sharpen like wood pencils?

Isn't that a corn razor? If so, it should be that shape.
Still, if the seller doesn't even know what he's selling, I still wouldn't be inclined to buy it even if I was in the market for a corn razor (which I'm not btw.)
Regards,
Alex

AlexIf it is a corn razor, the blade has been repinned to a normal size set of scales of a straight razor. It does kinda look like a corn razor at first glance, but if you check it out a little more closely, you will see it's just a blade that has been ground... and ground... and ground.
