View Full Version : Pipe Rack as a DE Holder

I used to have a pipe rack but, it "disappeared" when I stopped smoking pipes regularly about 12 years ago. I was wondering if anyone has tried using one to hold their DE razors with or am I just blowing smoke.

I recently was admiring several pipe racks that are in an antique store in my area. I just might go back and get one. They look perfect for the storage/display of razors. Some of them even have a little built-in box for tobacco or matches that could be used to hold blades and a puck or two of soap.

Actually, I have seen examples of that for both DE and straight razors. That's excellent idea!

I did it last year and posted pics at TOP.
Works very well.

Yes you, DJ, TJ, too. I really did it to shut Joe up (I did not like him back then I thought he was a snot).

Pipe rack, how bout a tooth brush holder. Works for me.:cool:

I use a pewter toothbrush holder now as a
Razor holder
Cleaning toothbrush holder and
old blade collect-all

Works very well.

I know you were talking about a pipe rack, but I gotta tell ya, this spoon rack has worked out really well. Inside the bottom drawer are all my razor blades. The drawer has enough room for at least 30 - 5paks of blades as well as two boxes of IPs. Doesn't take up alot of room and not a strain on the eye (as far as I'm concerned :rolleyes: )

Looks great and Ive still got an eye out for one.
Right now Im using a cabinet purchased from Target to hold all my shavery.
But.....
Im sure Ill need to expand sometime ;)

I remember this and thought it was very nice. Unfortunately, our bathrooms don't have the proper dimensions and configuration to mount one of these.
