I'll be doing the same. My wife and daughter are not going to know what I'm looking for and they do not know what I have or not. I will hint for a nice cologne since I'm short on those and there are plenty of places nearby that sell decent colognes.

My wife is a little clueless still, although she did order me a Vulfix brush from Vintage Blades for Christmas. My daughter is well practiced in Google-fu, so she might have an easier time. Besides, half of the bookmarks on my desktop computer are shaving sites. :D

It's mostly small sizes and samples except for the Spellbound from Mama Bear. I'm actually cutting back. :D In truth, my AD on a lot of items is coming to a temporary end. I've filled all the gaps in my cooking and cutlery. I'm done with brushes and I've bought most of the DE razors that I intend to buy. I have creams, soaps and blades to last me almost a lifetime. I was looking at my "list" and I see only Olivia, Mitchell's Wool Fat and Tabula Rasa left to try on my short list. I'll get some hones and one or two more str8 to try. Now, it's weeding time. I've tried to choose items that I thought would work for me but there are some that did not work out either scent or performance wise and they need to be retired or passed along to some poor soul that is dying to succumb to an AD affliction. :D I am "officially" creating my AD monthly budget and sticking to it. :rofl

Single-note scents are tough to get them to last long. And it all comes down to your personal chemistry. Bay Rum is notorious for this, so is lavender.
The DR Harris Sandalwood (despite allegedly being a single-note), however, seems to last the better part of a day on me.
If you like the scent, you might give their Aftershave splash a try....its quite moisturizing for a splash, and has enough scent in it to operate as a cologne too :D Would make yet another excellent gift to yourself :rofl

Rich you did good, as a matter of fact Classy is the name for the Musgo Real line for all of it. I got a 80 page PDF from Klaus Porto to study their background in product making some of the stuff that they did left me like breathless and I almost dropped of my chair. Originally its a German owned company but due to World War I they had to sell it and currently ownership is Portugal/Spanish.
They really follow a philosophy that they uphold in everything they do Class act people and business approaches. They handmake most to everything as much as possible to pamper the customer as much as possible.
I cant remember why but they had to stop using Cork as a product for packing their aftershave. They have a very strict Qualit Control if something is not up to par packaging or scent wise they will disregard the whole batch and start over again.

Good Show, buddy
Honestly. I would not call obtaining these items an acquisition disorder. They were ordered on an "as needed" basis. I needed the Proraso pre post as my jar will run out some time next week. I needed a 7th brush just in case something happens to the other six. I needed 4 more aftershaves because the 15 or so that I have now will probably be gone within 2 to 3 years. I needed 5 more shave creams and soaps as the 20 or so that I have now could dissipate to nothing within the next 48 to 60 months. I believe its a disorder when you obtain items solely for the purpose of having them. I NEED THESE ITEMS. So there you go... Now where can I find some Floid and Pitralon?

a long time coming for my haul, but technically, I just put it on my shave rack yesterday, since I was on summer vacation and away, so here goes.
Most of this new haul came from Mike, and a big belated thanks for that awesome package.
Merkur HD (Chrome) (flawless w/ original packaging)
a giant soft C&E super (great condition, a nice "weekend" brush)
Pinaud Virgin Island Bay Rum (Change your religion type awesome burn,.. love it)
T&H Sandalwood and 1805
MB spicy lime and QED grapefruit and peppermint (these two are terrific)
lots of other goodies.....
Also, I found a closeout bin on some nice little bowl/bristle/puck packages from a local Walgreens and stocked up on a few wet shave converter packages for my family. (Kept one for myself and was nicely surprised with the quality of the bristle brush and soap, though with MB soaps readily available, it wont make it into the rotation).
Also, got a couple hundred derbies.
Yipee!

Yup Will, that is great stuff isn't it...???
My colleague brought this stuff along directly from Italy.
I've paid for both bottles 32,-€ ~ $43,-USD, I think this price is okay...

Today I was going to pick up my new computer ! really happy with getting a new one. Im just not a PC person too much goes wrong with PC's I just cant handle them viruses, then this sunday I loose again 100 bookmarks in firefox while doing nothing wrong with the pc. I cant afford loosing business info and data time after time so I thought it was time to get a prof. computer for the BC company where I can really COUNT on stuff being there when I need it.
I got a nice offer in the mailbox to get 300 euro back for my old computer ! which I had from 1997 ! so my old mac really needed to retire ,yes I didnt buy the G3,G4,G5 I skipped the whole OSX era so now tonight I will be like a little kid finding out the new world of Steve Jobs OSX .
Anyways I forgot my old mac at home while driving off ! then had to turn round and pick it up ! then drive again off from home...then passing me on the opposite side of the road was a TNT Van I knew it was my order from Klaus Porto so I stop the car for a 2nd time and drive after the TNT van I wasnt wrong it parked infront of my house so lucky I didnt miss this drop off.
While relaxing in the little town where I got the new computer about 1+ hour away from my home nice shopping center I went to the drugstore..and what catches my Eyes.. VGH DEO ! Oh YEAH ! Gotta have that..... Oh YEAH !!!!!! Sorry Cracky didnt get one for you...
The only Bummer about today was I was going to close the day with a nice meal at some Thai restaurant finding it took ages to find out it was CLOSED on monday. but the website wrote its open 7 days a week , on top of that I was nearby another big City who had 2 nice Thai Restaurants which I could have asked people directions for. so a very exciting day... very hot day 28 degrees ! ended with me going home with an empty stomach.. and I still cant eat its too hot and im bummed about missing the thai food. and too excited about the new comp.
- Apple Dual Core 2,66Ghz /1GB memory/250GB HD
-VGH DEO Spray
-Musgo Real complete Line + Bath soaps + shampoos (Klaus Porto) BC Restocking

Glad you made it through the day and congratulations on the new computer. Glad it is not me. I dread the day I have to upgrade the main business computer. There is so much stuff that has to be transported (software and files). Kills me just thinking about it. Sorry to hear about no Thai food. An empty belly is no fun. 82 degrees Fahrenheit? Wimp. :D I'll let you know when it gets to our 100+ days in July.

I'm covered Bro. Thanks. The system has hard and soft firewalls, anti-virus, spam, spyware and malware protection 24/7 and it's backed up daily. Don't worry about the order, play with your system. I can wait. It won't kill me to go without something for a while. :D Now, excuse me while, I update my short list of soap/creams.
