OK, I used Mama Bear's Spellbound Shave Soap today. I fell in love with the scent when I first got it and used it the first time today. I have to say it went straight up near the top of scents for Mama Bear. I only used some Thayer's aftershave and some Nancy Boy Aftershave Gel and I'm still smelling the scent from the soap. Yummy!!!

This may call for me to order a vertical product set in this scent. I'll use it two more days and see how it goes.

I fibbed. I just got an email back from Shavemac. They said they'd make me a fan brush. I thought I was all done with brushes but this is very tempting. I'd really like to check out a Plisson but I don't think it's going to happen any time soon. It's just as well, I think I have a enough brushes to cover an entire badger already.

On another note, SOS wise, I used Mama Bear Woodland Pear Shave Soap today. The soap is up to it's normal standards but the scent is not wowing me. I have to give it a couple of more goes and re-evaluate. Oh, and I used a Merkur HD Slant with a Derby Extra which will make Rick very happy. :D

Good idea. The weight of Futur demands that you go extra light until you get the hang of it. Once you trust the Futur then yuo can dial it up a few notches. I stuck it a 1 for a month when I first got it.

EDIT: Now hours later I recognized I have strong razor burn. The Gillettes I have are totally crab. I think I have to throw them away. Former I had Super Silver in another case. These were very good. The ones I have now are rubbish. Time for my Post-healer, the one for special needings: Neo Ballistol. Perhaps some of you know Ballistol as an oil for weapons. This is quite similiar, but a little different. Now I smell like a huntsman and my skin is getting better.
Ps: It's a little cooling because there' a little mintoil in. Just like MENTHOL :rofl

Result: 4.5/5.0 I'm dialing in the Merkur Slant. I'll throw a Persona Super + into next. First time for this Avalon Organics Shampoo & Conditioner versions. Tea Tree & Mint I do like their stuff. And, ta da! I used Doc's Northern Dragon for the first time!. I wasn't disappointed When Mame Bear gets it right it makes for a nice shave all around. Oh, and "Doc" helped too. :D

WOW!! Basically a 2 pass BBS - The Vision Rocks :cool: :D :cool: I usually need 4 passes to get BBS.. And the new formula of Muehles Aloe is very nice, thick fragrant lather - and good for the skin too.. But make sure its the new formula - the old ones (Ive had 2 different old ones) where no more than crap..

The Filly is a huge blade but smooth nevertheless. I dont think I can use a blade this big daily but it was a great experience to try such a fine blade. The Torrey was a smooth shaver for sure. It cut stubble like hot knife thru butter, very nice.

This was also my first experience with Tabac. I have never been able to make good lather with any soap since all of my brushes are too soft. I was able to get good lather, the shave went very good. The scent is a little different but not bad. The Tabac Edt, well, WOW!!!! why did I wait so long to try????? I highly recommend it. Thanks Mike.
