Merkur Futur in satin finish. Bought new about February 20th, used about 40 times. Taken fully apart and cleaned, silicone grease applied to adjustment ring. In practically new condition. I liked it so much I want a gold one now!:D

$40 gets it to you, including USPS priority mail to CONUS.

Well, tell me gents. Did I say something wrong? Did I accidentally break some rule?

I haven't even gotten a peep out of this ad. Give me a clue, please.

Think the price is too high? Doesn't seem to be to me, but make me an offer!

Or is it just bad timing? (Everybody is buying a 38C?)

I'm open to trading as well: would like a tub of T&H 1805 cream, and will consider other stuff.

(I did get my Futur in gold and it shaves just as well, but is just much more satisfying!) Thanks to Jim at Vintage.

So, talk to me!

Used about 40 times, and price comes down only 9.00 ? Maybe that's why people are hesitant. I would have jumped at it somewhere in the high 20's or low 30's.

Well, thank you for the reply. Although the way I figured it, a new one from classicshaving.com would cost you $55.06 including shipping UPS. At vintagebladesllc.com it would be $56.49 shipped Priority. Out of the $40 I have to pay $6.50 for Priority mail, so it is more like $33.50 + shipping.

But, the market is always right, regardless of how I figure, and if it's too high, then it's too high. So how about $33.50, which is essentially $27 + $6.50 shipping? That's getting pretty close to half price of a new one.

It is a good deal, I am just not in the Market for one.

Thanks, Rick. I'll leave it up here until sometime tomorrow. Perhaps I'll have better luck in a month or two when everybody gets over the 38C buying & selling!

I have 2....... both the satin and gold finishes. It is definately a razor worth having.

Well, I'm in the same boat, having 2! :D I guess I'll just keep it a while longer. I'll be asking the moderator to close this thread or mark it "Withdrawn" or whatever is appropriate.
