I AM!

I have 3 that I love.

40's style Eversharp
New type Eversharp
PAL

I love them but the thing is I cant get close enough and I think it is the blade

I have been using the CVS style but I hear Schick and Ted Pella are better, anyone have opinions?

Used an injector today. I think the key is to keep the head flat against your face. They don't seem to like me on the ATG pass, but the WTG is smooth and reminiscent of a straight razor.

micromatic on the other hand bit me several times.

I will get the injector figured out or die trying...

I have three Schick injector razors:

E3 -- woodgrain handle
G4 -- blue handle (Schick "66")
G6 -- translucent amber handle

I've been shaving with them for six months, using Ted-Pella blades (Teflon-coated) since the beginning and, once I read a posting (http://leisureguy.wordpress.com/2007/01/29/the-new-grip/) on LeisureGuy's blog, have never had any problem getting a "bloodless" BBS shave.

The secret is to loosely hold the razor by the round portion, between the head and the handle (where the clamping spring swivels), using the pad of your thumb and the 2nd joint of your first finger. You'll find that the other three fingers of your hand seem to naturally curl-around, but not tightly grasp, the handle.

Holding the razor this way makes it child's-play to keep the head flat against your face, as well as preventing you from unconsciously pressing against your face with the razor.

Try it; you'll be pleasantly surprised! Then you can concentrate on properly prepping your face/beard before shaving (who said foreplay was "over-rated"?)

Smooth shaving!
