Free stuff. Couple catches:

1) Be new to The Shave Den
2) Be (relatively) new to wetshaving - a beginner without a brush, soap, razor, etc.
3) Introduce yourself, short story as to your shaving experiences
4) Please post your experiences with the kit I send

The loot:

1) Proraso Omega Boar Brush
2) Glycerin Shave Soap
3) Gillette DE Razor
4) Blade Sampler
5) Aftershave

What 2-5 will consist of exactly, we'll work out. I have quite a selection to choose from, so we'll custom-tailor it to your specs ;)

First to PM (Private Message) will win, but it will not ship until we receive your Introduction. :D

I'd be interested, but I don't think I qualify.

I'm new to TSD, but I've been wetshaving about 3 months now.

Hi,

This is my first post. I have no experience with DE shaving. At the urging of my brother, I am going to give it a try! I am tired of paying way too much for throw away junk. I'd like to start in easy and build my technique.
So, with luck and patience I will get a pretty good shave. Help!

Thanks,
Steve

 ::git Ok, this place rocks!
Joe sent me:
a gold Gillette Tech razor
Omega Boar brush
J M Fraser shave cream
Bay Rum after shave splash
some Derby & IP blades
Prof. Patton's after shave balm
Barbasol latherless shave cream
samples of:
Anthony after shave balm
King of Shaves
Sharps Body wash

A plethora of stuff!

First shave: about 20 minutes, being new and trying the 4 quadrant/pass method. Not too bad of a shave, taking my time, being deliberate UNTIL...
I have this small beauty mark right on my jawline, yes you guessed it, nick city. Ok, ok... a dab of styptic  all is well. Nice shave I might say, smooth, not too red. After applying the soothing Prof. Patton I was heading out the door ready to greet the world.

Guys (esp. Joe) hats off to a great site, to a new way of shaving.
I can't say thank you enough. :: Looking forward to getting deeper into this new "hobby" that I have been muddling through for 25+ years.

Hi guys,

Well it's been a few weeks since I got my "loot" from Joe :D I have practiced my techique and learned to make fine shave lather with that fantastic MB soap and boar brush followed by a little Anthony ASB. A few nicks here and there but it's coming along. Gotta say, THIS is the way to shave, hands down. Now I'll explore some other blades and maybe a bit softer brush to use with creams. Thanks for the fine threads and good reading.
Joe, you the man. ::poze
