Musgo Cream

I absolutely LOVE the scent of Musgo Real aftershave splash. I just read through a very long Musgo thread over at B&B trying to find out if their shaving cream smells like the splash, but with no luck. Anyone here have both? If it does smell the same, or even close, I have GOT to get some! Thanks!

I have not used or smelled either but what from I hear (reliable sources) that it dose have the same scent.

Some one smarter then me will chime in at anytime now. :D

I do use both the shave cream and the a/s and I would say although, imo, they are not identical, they are close and there is no mistaking that it is Musgo. If you like one, you will like the other. (... and I am not smarter than Doc)

I've got a sample of their original cream here and will only use it for the most special of occasions. The stuff you get nowadays is what MR is after three, four or even more reformulations....

I agree with Johnnie -- they're not the same, but go well together ayway. It's unmistakable as Musgo though.

If it's anything like the splash, not a chance! Actually, I was thinking of Mr. Menthol, otherwise known as Joe. You guys can fight it out if you want, but I imagine it'll be pointless. Besides, it's a $10 item...maybe the cheapest shaving item I've purchased so far!! Hmm - I feel a Saturday night poll coming on.....

The "components" of the scent in the cream and the splash are exactly the same (a proprietary combo of vetiver & patchouli with some "other" oils)

However, the scent you will detect from the cream is more muted than that in the splash.

Also note, that with the splash, a little will go along way......

Used the Musgo cream today. I don't use it very often, but it's very nice. It's very slick, but not as cushioning as I'd like, and the scent is nowhere near as intense/delightful as the splash.
