My dad (76 years old) has always used a brush, although he uses a cartridge razor of some kind. Shortly before Christmas I found out that he uses regular bath soap to shave with. :eek: So for one of his Christmas presents I gave him a tub of Truefitt & Hill Trafalgar. This weekend we went down for a quick visit, and there was the tub out on the sink, obviously getting regular use. He really enjoys it and mentioned how easy it to create lather with it. Now if I can just convince him to go back to using a DE.

That's awesome Bob!

My Dad, who does recall having a DE of some kind a while back.....has been using the cheapest disposable cartridges and foam he can find. He does, however, get quick and very passable shaves :rolleyes:

I've tried, fruitlessly, to "convert" him and have basically give up :(

I think I've finally converted someone myself. He's a heated-canned-goo-Mach-3 guy right now. I told him to watch Mantic's videos (actually, maybe mantic converted him) and he's out shopping for supplies as of yesterday
